Hi there! I suppose you’d like to know a little more about me. I am an artist who has been painting for as long as anyone can remember. So when it came time to go to college I decided to get the best art education possible, I ended up with expertise in graphic design, photography and illustration, but I majored in Illustration. Well, after a grueling acquisition of my BFA from Art Center I did some editorial work, and got some things published but as you are well aware of the starving artist cliché I ended up doing non-art related work to pay the rent. After getting married to my high school sweetheart and leaving Southern California for the grey skies of Seattle, my career was put on hold to start a family (the genesis of "A Muse", "Arabesque" and "A Little Space"). After 8 years of dull skies and vibrant green hills it was time to return to our home in the sun (the genesis for the painting "Home"). So, pregnant, we sold our house, packed our stuff, and moved to Laguna Beach. It was here, being immersed in an artistic community that we decided to alter our life focus. It was time to pursue my dream! My family and I make a great team….I create the art….my husband claims to be the marketing and sales manager (he helps carry my stuff to art shows and craft fairs) and my children are my inspiration. So off we go on a new adventure, we’ve chosen quality of life over being rich and famous…of course rich and famous would be nice too!! I’ve always believed that if you follow your heart success will follow.
